A Beautiful Friendship...

Sable and Bluff Country Zaria

Watching these two warms my heart!

As soon as we enter the pasture, Sable seeks out Zaria (who is usually running to greet Sable) and the joy they share upon reuniting is palpable.

Sable covers Zaria with kisses and Zaria just beams.

ZARIA says:
"I Love my Puppy!"

SABLE says:
"I Love my Zaria!"

DREAM says:
"What's a Girl gotta do to get any camera time around here?
Get a DOG???"

  1. Pooor Dream! Upstaged by a dog! Sable has grown so much!!! I must say Zaria is a very beautiful sheep! (sorry Dream)!

  2. I'm so glad you're feeling better - I've had more than my share of auto accidents and they can be miserable.

Sable and Zaria's friendship is priceless! Dream, you need to just step up and join them.

  3. Zaria is so cute... and what lovely photograhs and blog...

  4. I love how their happiness with each other just shines though. Beautiful pictures Nancy. Sable has sure grown up. I hope you are feeling better :)

  5. I am feeling much better, Shula. This afternoon, Sable was in the house when I fed the sheep and Zaria was very obviously looking for her...

    They are just SOOOOOOOoooooo cute!

  6. Hahaha, that was adorable :)

  7. I laughed out loud at Dream's "comment" and smiled throuout your photos of Zaria and Sable....thanks! It was a wonderful way to start my day this morning during my "quiet time" after the girls were watered and given their morning hay. My morning coffee and my favorite blogs......again, thanks Nancy! Cute pictures!

I hope you are on the mend. I know I sound like a broken record (that dates me as having grown up with LPs), but I love your photos.
    You've got a great artist's eye.

    Hi Nancy,

What a special pair Sable and Zaria are--I can just see the mutual affection they have for each other in your photos. I also enjoyed the nose shot of Dream and her comment. You are a real artist and entertainer to dream up things like that!! It put a bright spot in my day--thanks.

  10. More adorable photos of Sable with her flock :o)
I'd really love a LGD for my girls.

  11. Hi Nancy,

I am glad you are feeling better! All your photos are wonderful but you have to flag a few of these for Calendar contenders for sure! Way too sweet!

  12. Awwwww... that's so sweet!!

BTW, when I lost my old computer, I lost your email addy, so I can't answer your comments directly. My addy is the same, so if you write a note to me, I'll be sure to catch your address and put it in my address 'book'.

I am hoping that I'll have a chance to get a little sheep therapy with you this year - and/or that I'll see you at Shepherd's Harvest on Mother's Day weekend. If you go, be sure to visit me and mom at our tables (we'll be next to each other)!

  13. I especially love the first photo. It's funny the friendships that can develop, isn't it? A good lesson for us all to be open to the opportunities.
