What are we going to do?
Too many cute lambs!

I confess to being biased and loving all my lambs,
but I truly can't pick a photo for the May page in the 2011
"Real Sheep Wear Shetland Wool" calendar.

Heck, I can't even get it narrowed down to a reasonable number!
I'm going to have to split them into two posts.  Perhaps we can use some for May and some for June...

April calendar prospect and a Milestone!

April is one of those months that has both dull, drab, possibly even snowy days as well as beautiful, bright green grass growing and maybe even lambs!  I may just split the April page into two photos ~ one showing the early part of the month and one the end of the month.

Here are some selections for the April page of the 2011 "Real Sheep Wear Shetland Wool" calendar.  Please leave your vote (or recommend another picture) and the reason you like your selection, in the comments after this post.

Thank You for your help!

but included it because I like the composition)

I also have the option of going back and selecting one of the pictures from late March to use on the April page.  The selection is not as great as it used to be since I'm no longer timing lambing to take place in April.  I used to always have lamb photos for this month.  The two in this group of possibilities were actually born
in 2008.

March Calendar Prospects.

We better get back to work!
I want to be able to ship calendars by the end of the first week of January so we may be doubling up some months.

Please vote for your favorites for the month of March.
Keep in mind,  March can be snowy or dull gray & brown, in the Bluff Country.  I've selected photos that display both.

These photographs were all taken in March of either 2009 or 2010

A quick look back at Sable's first year...

On December, 23, 2009, my Dear Friend, Katie W. met me in Rochester, MN., to hand over the adorable puppy that was to be my livestock guardian dog.  I had already named the pup, "Sable" and had seen photos of her, sent to me by her breeder in Tennessee.

My adorable little furball was NOT welcomed at all by the "lady of the house", Bellamica!

Bella couldn't have made her unhappiness more clear, if she spoke English!

But, Sable grew and thrived

and it wasn't long before she even won Bellamica over!

Sable was HOME.

Her first year has been a delight for us all:

I've created an entired web album of photos following Sable's exploits since she came to the Bluff Country.  Click on this last photo if you'd like to view it...

Later today I WILL post more Calendar photos ~ I PROMISE!
