Sigh...

I am SO disappointed.
Once again, I have been working all day on getting a slide show put together and downloaded.  I figure that a slideshow is a better way for me to post when I want to include a lot of photos.  What do you think?  Do you have a preference for a post with many photos as opposed to a slide show/video?

The REASON I've been working on a slide show is as a tribute to our gorgeous, handsome, goofy, sweet, athletic CISCO.  Because Cisco has left us for his FOREVER FAMILY!

I think it's safe to say that the big guy will get plenty of LOVE in his new home!

Here he is on Becky's (that his FOREVER Mom's name) lap at "settle down time".

The picture quality isn't real good but Cisco has fallen asleep on his new Mom's lap.

As hard as it is for me to let go of one of my rescues ~ especially one that I've had as long as Cisco! ~  I have to admit that I am SO happy for Cisco because I KNOW that he is going to have a WONDERFUL life filled with all the love that he so deserves!

But I still cried...

  2. Beautiful pictures Nancy! You are an extraordinary person to open your heart and home to a sweet baby that will eventually go on to another destiny. Someone as loving as you are will surely be blessed by the Universe in many ways! Cisco looks so peaceful and happy, you gave him what he needed while he was yours.

I know it must be sad to say goodbye, but it's so cool that he's got such a wonderful forever home….

Outcomes like this are another example that you have been successful at what you are doing.
But I can just imagine how hard it is at time like this to be a foster mom. Crying just shows how much you care.
But how great that you could save Cisco and care for him till he and his forever family could be connected. I worried for him when Jill found her home.
Becky looks to be a true animal lover.
    Congradulations,
    Marilyn
