Missing Lily...

Our Lovely Lily the Snuggle Kitty has not been home for 3 weeks.

At first, Mom would call for her every day.

Now, she just says:  "I miss my Lily Kitty".

I miss her too but I haven't given up.  I'm keeping one eye peeled.
Just in case.
We miss you Lily Kitty.

  2. I know how you feel; I am missing my Baby Kitty right now. I fear she will not return since she never was gone for much time.

That's sad and worrisome. I hope she's just at a neighbor's barn or something. She is such a pretty kitty, and a nice one to play so well with the sheep.

  4. Nancy,
I'm so sorry. That is very, very hard. Is there any chance she was shut up in a building or room anywhere on your property (or your neighbors?) I know you've probably have looked, but cats are so nosey and forver getting into places they shouldn't. Have you advertised on Craigslist or the paper, maybe put up a flyer on the telephone poles on the road near your house? You just never Know...Take care, I'm praying for her safe return.

  5. Oh dear! I've had the same experience, twice and it is so awful, not knowing where they are. Sometimes they come back and sometimes they do not. I will wish and wish and wish that she comes back soon!. I still live in hope of seeing my Dylan and my Bobby again one day.

  6. Actually, the cat pictured in this post is Daisy. Lily is my white & yellow kitty. She is my snuggle bug. Daisy does NOT like to be held. But she definitely does like to be petted. As does Mimi.

I'm still saying prayers for my Lily Kitty

    Thanks for the kind thoughts!

  7. And I fret when my Emma Lily sneaks out the door and is gone for 30 min. or an hour. I'll be thinking of you, and wishing very hard that your Lily comes home.

I was thinking the same thing as Tammy. My father left his garage door open, then left for 2 weeks with it closed. A neighbor's cat
was trapped inside the garage--survived, much to the delight/surprise of the cats's owners.
I hope your dear Lily comes home.

I am so sorry : ( That really sucks when you have no idea where they are if they are ok. The best thing to do is think positive. I really hope she comes back home.

  10. Oh Nancy, I do hope you find her. I know how worrisome it is when they don't come home. We used to have a cat that would disappear for weeks at a time, only to find out that he had moved in with another family on the other side of town.
So don't give up hope - someone may have taken her in.

  11. I am very sorry for you. The same thing happened to me in June...my little Emmy disappeared. I still watch for to come out of the corn fields and home to us. I hope you are one of the lucky ones and that she will be home soon.

  12. You, Lily and Daisy are in our thoughts and prayers today, Nancy. I was so hoping she made her way home.
If it's any help, please know that your friends are holding you in their hearts.

  13. Im still hoping shes being held prisoner at some good-hearted neighbor's who thinks they're "rescuing a stray", Daisy would be much more upset otherwise, she would know if something happened to her sister.
