Hug A Sheep...
Dream's a Star!

Yesterday, Dream paid a visit to a local television station where she was the star of the noon news program:  "Save The Date".   Dream enjoyed her visit and politely greeted one of the station's weathermen, Josh Blumenfeld.

She also appeared to be very interested in the noon news:

I swear Dream giggled when Martha Kowalski applied lipstick during a commercial break.

I just viewed a video from the segment with our interview and have copied and pasted the 'embed code' here, but I don't think it's working!  If not, I'll see if I can figure out what's wrong and post it later.  (in spite of how fat and dumb I look!)  Dream looks pretty cute and that's the important thing.

"I really DO look good!
What they say about the camera adding  twenty  er, ten extra pounds is clearly true.  You'll have to see me ~ and maybe even HUG me ~ to see just how lovely I really am..."

Don't forget the Bluff Country Shetlands Open House and Fall Fiber Festival at our place (11512 Hwy 4,  Houston, MN) on Saturday, Oct 30.
1 to 4 pm.

Scroll down to yesterday's post for more information!

  2. Too funny! You're just going to have to get Lucky Nickel booked on your local TV channel! You are also going to have to start up a National "Hug A Goat" day!

"HAG" ~ I'm not so sure about that....

Actually, I think, for Lucky Nickel, EVERY day should be Hug A Goat day!

  3. You have to put the embed code in the html section of the design, not in compose. I do hope you can get it to work.
Loved your pictures of Dream in the television studios.

How great for this to happen for you. And thank you and Dream for the great PR for sheep.
I do hope that Dream's new TV personality statis doesn't cause problems within the flock with the other ewes. Would hope Dream doesn't get a superiority complex....:)

From Michigan...where I am fortunate to have everyday be a Hug a sheep day.

  7. Oh my, Marilyn! I'm afraid it might already be a bit too late for our Dreamer...

Isobelle, you'll be proud to know that Dream did, indeed, leave some raisonettes (and a rather large puddle!) for the crew. ;-)

  8. How cool!!! I've had a couple of our foster dogs on TV too, and it's a lot of fun--But I have to admit I think Dream on TV is much better for ratings!!!

Well, Dreamer is definitely the Diva of the flock! :) I, however, am going to rally a Vote For Dazzle movement! (Yes, I know, Nancy. She is a spoiled rotten Ewe with terrible manners that somebody taught her... )
I posted the HAS event on the Twin Cities Chicken Board, and I'm going to try and find a few Co-op Boards to post it to as well!
