Let the Good Times Roll...

Oh, my Goodness!  For a dog that was SO very unhappy with the arrival of our new puppy, Bellamica has made a complete turn-around!  These two are absolutely nuts!  They play

and play...

and play...

and play some more!

Sable even got to come with me on Christmas Day and Pam took this picture of her playing  with my youngest Grandson, Nick:

I don't know about the dogs or the kids
but I'm exhausted!!

DREAM says...

"Things are pretty peacefull out here, Mom.  If you need a little peace and quiet, you know where to find me!"

I may just have to take you up on that, Dreamer!

  2. So good to see them such good friends. It'll be bedlam at your spot for a while though, Fox and Whisper still play like maniacs. Don't forget to make time to be with them individually, especially for training Sable, or Sable will look to Bella for direction instead of you!

  3. Oh, now THAT's a scary thought, Jenny!

Thanks for the reminder. I've been focusing on giving Bella lots of extra attention, so she doesn't feel left out. I'll have to remember that Sable needs her one-on-one time as well!

  5. I've only ever seen that big smile on Bella's face when you walk in the door! It must be good to watch, and exhaustion wise, it's probably a good thing Sable has somebody ELSE to play with!

  6. Most excellent point, my Beautiful Baby Girl! Bella's also a big help with potty time ~ I just open the door and Bella runs out and Sable follows. I stay in the nice "warm" house!

It is a great help having another older dog in the household to teach new pups the ropes. Looks like Bella and Sable are getting along famously. What a cute pair!

    Hi Nancy,
What a cutie Sable is and I'm glad she and Bella are having so much fun together! Belated Merry Christmas--had a great one with our extended family, too--so nice to have Jon and Sarah home and also have the grandchildren so close. Now S&J are back safely in CA.

  11. Puppies are good for an adult dogs soul....(and OURS)! I'm glad to see Bella and Sable are playing and enjoying each other now. Guardian dogs tend to mellow and slow down as they mature, keeping their energy for "business". I did catch my 8 year old Akbash having a burst of playful energy the other day.....it always puts a smile on my face. Here's wishing you and yours a wonderful 2010!!! Tammy and the Wrensong bunch
