I got a Face Lift!!!

Well, not really "I", as in "me".
More like my Blog.
My Blog got a Face lift!
Do you like it?

My regularly scheduled readers may remember a few weeks ago when I declared winter officially over in the Bluff Country.   Lately, I've been dying a lot of yarn

and roving

and mohair locks into bright, cheery colors.

I am so sick of dull, drab gray and brown that I could scream!
So I decided to change the background of my Blog.  I didn't want to go too  crazy.
It's not like there are flowers blooming or green grass in my peaceful, little valley in SE Minnesota.

At least not YET!    But soon.

DREAM says...

"Oh, I HOPE  it's soon, Mom!
I'm really sick of the drab colors too and some fresh grass would taste mighty good, right about now!"

Don't forget to hop on over to Verde Farm's blog to link up with lots of other FARM FRIEND FRIDAY bloggers!

P.S.  I wish I could get a face lift that easily!

  8. Very nice and Spring-y! I am soooo very ready for Spring to arrive. And my Tax Refund... I think that would boost my mood as much as a tulip or a robin. Yesterday at Target, I found the most adorable, soft, lamb stuffed animal. I carried it around the store, like a 2 yr old, just beacuse it made me think of last spring and the adorable lambs! (I also brought it home, which made my teen-aged son laugh.)

  9. Thank you Amy. And thank you for hosting FFF! I'm meeting so many nice people and discovering so many wonderful blogs because of it!

Thanks for stopping by HTAPITM! Let's hope Spring gets here this weekend!

Hi Voni ~ I just googled "country blog backgrounds" and got a list of sites that offer them. It's VERY easy ~ just copy the code that they give you and past it into the correct spot on your blog and you have a pretty new blog background! You can usually tell where a blogger got their background by a small corner banner or icon that links back to the background site...

Thank you farmlady! My goal for today is to get them listed in my "Sheep Hugs & Soap Suds" store...(that's one of my goals, anyway. :-)

Thank you, Sheeps & Peeps! I enjoy Dreamers remarks as well. Believe it or not, I often have NO idea what she's going to say!

Thank you so much, Buttons and thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!

I'm glad you like it Linda. How do you make the little heart? I know how to do it on Facebook but not on Blogger...

  16. I'm thinking that Dream would like you to dye her before she is shorn. That way she could enjoy the bright colors!
