I used to be a dog trainer.

I really was!

The two dogs that I have now are not exactly prime examples of my dog training skills.  The two dogs in this video are not really my dogs but they do remind me a LOT of Sable and Bella...

  1. To me that's kinda like watching someone's kid throwing a tantrum at the store . . . very uncomfortable to watch. Not the dogs' (or kid's) fault, of course, but oh, so preventable.

  2. Oh, come on, Michelle! I know it's awful but I laughed so hard that I went into a coughing fit!

OMG. That Shepherd is SO much like my Sable...

  4. It did seem very funny, unfortunately my computer didn't like to load it. I only got to see 5 second intervals; I tried letting it load all the way through and clicking back to the start, but it did the same thing. Im sorry, but it does seem funny, and Im glad for anything that makes you laugh :)

  5. It was funny, especially when you read the title--dogs 'attack' women reporters. When I go visit the collies at my breeders they pretty much act that way---their joy of life overwhelms! I didn't know you used to be a dog trainer! That is pretty neat. I've done some obedience training and showing in the past and find it fun...esp. trying to figure out what make each dog enjoy it. Now I just teach them 'farm dog manners'--wait---sit---far enough and things of that nature. The big thing is to teach them not to run out gates and not to jump on people, since I don't want them to accidentally hurt anyone. It doesn't take them long--Ashley had to be taught the not running through gates and she is still working on not jumping up. :-) The puppies are clueless at this point... Boone was a gem and learned very quickly which was necessary because of his size.
