When I was finished crying, the rest of the day was very nice. My bestest friend, Corry, came over for a visit. She always makes me laugh and makes me feel loved. My handsome son came over and went for a walk with Pam and I. It was a glorious day for a walk!
I'm hoping and praying that I'll be able to go back home next week. I have another doctor appointment on Monday and if things are improving I might be able to get my drains out early next week. It's difficult trying to balance how desperately I want to go back home and be on my own and how much I enjoy being with Pam and the boys and how grateful I am for the wonderful job that she has done of taking care of me through all of my medical crisis this year. I can't imagine being anywhere else through such difficult times but I want to give Pam & Karl and my grandsons their normal lives and routines (and house!) back...and then watch ~ once I'm home, I'll be whining about how much I miss PAM!
Thank you Pam and Penny for the wonderful surprise!
I love you
Dearest Nancy, you are not the only one crying, I am too!! I am so glad you got to see Bella and Sable!! They really are good medicine, aren't they? I am so glad that you are surrounded by love and are finding peace and comfort. I know I am not around much, life gets so busy, but I think of you often and wonder how you are doing. Please know that I continue to send healing thoughts and prayers in your direction!
ReplyDeletePS: If you need a laugh, look at my blog today and see what the puppy has been into!
*hugs* Nancy. ♥
ReplyDeleteIt's the little things like that, that kind people do, that make such a difference.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures of your dogs. Your Sable (the first pic?) looks so much like a dog I had once, that I had a little cry too! Silly me, I'm always blubbing. Anyway, I'm glad you're doing ok, just be patient and it will all come together eventually. Now you can look forward to the next time you see your dogs.
ReplyDeleteNancy, if I could wish away your medical ordeals I would, but I don't know of anyone with better resources to deal with them than you! You are so blessed, and I'm so thankful!
ReplyDeleteOooh goodness but this brings tears to my eyes. I totally understand how dearly you miss Bella, Sable and home. It's time for things to take a turn for the better! Keeping my fingers crossed for you. :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful that you have people in your life that love you and care about you.
ReplyDeleteBring your dogs to visit you was a sweet thing to do. I can tell it meant so much. A kindness can be so simple and yet such a huge thing.
Take care.
That would be heartbreaking--to not be able to be around your furry family. I'm sure they are puzzled about it all too, but being able to see you had to assure them a little, and it sounds like they are in good hands. Hopefully soon, Nancy, you'll be back in your own little world, and when you need a Pam fix you can dash over and see her. :-)
ReplyDeleteLots of Love Nancy. Bella and Sable must have been so pleased to see their Mom xxx
ReplyDeleteThe dogs look great Nancy, and greatly relieved to be with you obviously. Patience, it will be no time at all and you will be home. You have come through a lot in a very short time.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your sweet puppies got to visit you. They need you as much as you need them! :O) Keep getting better.
