Although I don't feel strong enough to attend the Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival (and MSSBA Shetland Sheep Show) this year, my sister Penny will be attending and showing with her daughter, Alicia, and the two ewe lambs they bought from me.
The show is next weekend (9/10) and Penny & Alicia have been working hard trying to get their lambs halter trained. Alicia is doing pretty well with "Kahlua" but Penny's a bit behind with "Tia Maria"...
Even though Penny tries to bribe Tia with cookies (animal crackers), Tia Maria is a stubburn little soul:
I don't think I've laughed so hard since my BC diagnosis!
Penny has tried talking with Tia...
But there still seems to be a bit of an 'attitude problem'!
Luckily for Tia Maria,
Penny still loves her very much!
If you're going to the WSWF please watch for Penny & Tia Maria in the ewe lamb class and cheer them on for me!
Oh I so wish I could be there just to see them with their ewes! Those lambs remind me of some children I have known...:(
ReplyDeleteI hope they have a wonderful time and take lots of pictures to share with us.
Always in my prayers...

We will be cheering for her!!! She will be in good hands Nancy. Tell her to prepare herself for the feast on Sat night too!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are healing well.
I'll be there and will try to meet up with them. I was wondering if you were going to be able to attend. Stay put and take care of yourself. You will be there in spirit.
ReplyDeleteShetland lambs are so much fun. I miss not having any this year. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to them both!
ReplyDeleteI wish them good luck! Kahlua was one of my favourites of your lambs this year. I hope you share updates about them from your sisters! Take care and rest now!!
