Death warmed over.
That's how I feel.
Like Death warmed over.
I think I coughed up a lung this morning.
My throat feels like I swallowed one of the thistles that I've been chopping out in the ditch.
You know how tight and shiny a pregnant ewe's udder gets just before lambing? That's how my ears feel.
I think my eyeballs are melting.
I feel exactly like S**T.
I'm gonna go sit with my sheep...
I'm so sorry you are under the weather. I hope you feel better soon. Time for a hot toddy?
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon Nancy. Rest up and enjoy your sheep. Oh and any advice for bottle feeding would make me very grateful in my blog.
ReplyDeleteSorry you arn't feeling well, girlfriend! Hot tea, chicken soup, and lots of rest.
ReplyDeleteJust take care of yourself - sleep and wait it out. I'm finally down to one cold pill a day now.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the weather is getting warmer; then maybe you won't get sick so often. I would be in bed all winter if I kept my house that cold. It doesn't help your resistance. Lambs won't be here until end of May. Better late than never, huh?
ReplyDeleteUgh, your description was truly vivid - I can imagine exactly how you feel, and I am very hopeful that you feel better soon. Lots of warm lemon and honey, rest, and communing with sheep. Sending you healthy thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI hope sitting with your sheep helped you feel better. Take care!

Oh dear. Dream, give your Mam a big hug from us xx
ReplyDeleteIm so srry you're sick! I didn't hear it in your voice when we talked this morning so i had no idea :(. I'm sorry I had to go so quickly, but I hope you enjoyed your time out with the sheepies and that it helped start healing you. Love Katie
ReplyDeleteAwwww....so sorry, you're feeling so sick. Bummer. A shepherdess needs her sheep. Go hang out with them and you'll feel better soon. Take some meds...Zicam is amazing stuff!...and drink some tea. When I'm feeling down, I take a walk with my llama or just sit outside with my horse, or scratch a sheep head. Does the world of good.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon,
~Lisa
Feel better soon! Sitting with your sheep will help a little, but sleep will help too! Tea with lemon and honey??
ReplyDeleteI started drinking those Danactives almost 2 years ago now and I have not been sick one time. I just can't believe it - I usually get at least 2 biggies each year. Feel better!
ReplyDeleteMay your energy & health return faster than you can say "got wool?"

Hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteNancy,
ReplyDeleteThat was quite a graphic description, practically poetic--congratulate yourself on your talent and rest on your laurels, sleeping and drinking hot tea--elderberry tea helps a lot but I have to find more elderberries. It's anti-viral. Hang in there--
Terry
Sending immune-strengthening thoughts your way, friend!
