Shetland sheep have changed my life and touched my heart. They have brought me joy, adventure and serenity. Follow along as I live each day influenced by memories of my mighty flock of mini sheep ~ aided and abetted by "Bellamica", the English Shepherd,"Sable", my livestock guardian dog and "Hero" the rescue dog that stole my heart! You'll also meet many of the homeless dogs that I rescue and rehome as part of Bluff Country Canine Rescue.

BLACK and WHITE.....
Same old photos... A different light!
DREAM says...
"Very Cool! Although, I really don't see the difference...
I love all your photos - black and white are my favorite. They tell the very simple story....of course when you have the subjects that you do, who WOULDN't have great photos?!!!
Barbara has a great idea - a B/W calendar along with your lovely colored photo calendar :)
Black & white is so simple/elegant and allows the eye to see contrast more. The first photo is mysterious--it looks like wool in front of the sheep? Diane L./Bloomington,IN.
The chicken photo reminds me of life on a farm from the 1920's. It just has that feeling being in black and white. I really like it a lot...thanks for sharing those in a "new" light:)
Brr the first one makes me cold!! It's gorgeous though, I also love the one with Bella and Sadie, the chickens, Hunter, and the one right after hunter. Im getting a jump start if we start voting for more calendar pics :)
I love the effect of black and white photos. The one of Hunter is awesome.
ReplyDeleteNancy, you're a really awesome photographer! Have you ever thought of making calendar?
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures in black and white! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I just bought one of the sheep deck chairs online. Thanks for the info on that!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Everyone! The black & white is really fun for a change. I may do more with it. I'll look into the idea of a B & W calendar...

ReplyDeleteOops, I meant the one right after the chickens...
ReplyDeleteGlad I checked in for my daily photo-fill, nice.
ReplyDeleteSuch texture and mood! That's what I love about black and white. You are a composition genius--that shows best in black and white...
ReplyDeleteI take it Hunter is the gorgeous creature in profile? The horns are amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteI love B&W - sometimes it tells the story so much better. Your photos are fantastic.

Your dogs look so happy and loved. What a sweet picture. All the photos were lovely but that one warmed my heart.
