Shetland sheep have changed my life and touched my heart. They have brought me joy, adventure and serenity. Follow along as I live each day influenced by memories of my mighty flock of mini sheep ~ aided and abetted by "Bellamica", the English Shepherd,"Sable", my livestock guardian dog and "Hero" the rescue dog that stole my heart! You'll also meet many of the homeless dogs that I rescue and rehome as part of Bluff Country Canine Rescue.
Oh! I had to laugh at the subject of this post! I know my house isn't the messiest one, but it's by far not the neatest one. My poor Mother is shamed. LOL!
I love the lamb pictures. The best excuse for not doing housework. Shetlands are starting to win me over. There is not a cuter lamb. I got your link from Little Red Oak Farm and am so envious of all you shepherds.
Nancy, they are THE CUTEST--like having children, the time when they are little is so short and they take priority over the house. I miss my sheep!!! Are you home this weekend??? (hint, hint...)
No worries, mine is too :)

ReplyDeleteYou posted very good excuses!
Franna
you'd have to force me into the house rather than staying outside with the critters.
ReplyDeleteSunny day, greening grass, frolicking lambs, well that's one of the better excuses to get out of housework. Enjoy
ReplyDeleteThat is a good reason. Much better than why mine is a mess!
