Wishing you a Safe & Memorable (in a GOOD way!) Memorial Day Weekend...

I finally got around to finishing shearing Zaria! Poor thing. I was able to roo most of her but used the hand shear on her hind quarters. She hated every minute of it but looks SO much better now....

The lambs are growing like weeds!

They're so fun to watch and very loving when I sit with them. What an absolute JOY.

Beautiful Bella Luna keeps a close watch over her babies...

Even MY "Beautiful Baby Girl" is home for a few days, before leaving for a year in Georgia!

Tomorrow night, I'm having dinner with ALL THREE of my children!

Life is Oh-So-Very-Good in the Bluff Country...

Is that Georgia USA or the Georgia the country overseas that your daughter is going to be spending a year in?
Your lambs are so cute. That black and white one in the fourth photo is one long legged baby!
Sounds like you are going to have a nice weekend.

  2. Oh, my Lord! That thought never even crossed my mind! At least not yet. Thankfully, Katie will be stateside for at least another year.

  3. Zaria looks good, you did a great job. Are you going to shear all of your sheep yourself this year? Enjoy the weekend and time with your family.

  10. Glad to know I'm not the only one who hasn't sheared yet. I'm about 99% sure I'm going to buy shears and do it myself. I was shopping online today, in fact. Willie, my yearling ram, completely rooed his fleece. It's lovely!
