This is Going to Take a While....

Oh MY! I had SO much fun going through Pam's pictures when I got home from work, last night! I smiled for so long that I was getting cramps in my jaw!!!

So far, Pam has narrowed her selection down to 200 photos! I'm downloading each of them to my computer, editing them, and putting up the ones I think you might enjoy on here.

Like most anyone else, I don't like photos of myself. But, as Pam said: you can see the sheer JOY that my sheep and lambs bring into my world ~ and That I don't mind sharing....

Mystery learning to "shake hands"!

Dream's little "Kat Nap" is one of my absolute favorite lambs. And she KNOWS it!!

Just to show you I'm not Too vain, here's a full, head on shot of an "Old, Fat Lady with a Droopy Eye" ~ quite content with her world!

DREAM says...

..."If you like these pictures, come back tomorrow! Mom's got lots more that she's going to share...."

  5. I think they're lovely photos, and would agree that you look radiant and absolutely filled with joy and thankfulness. To me, that trumps any kind of "traditional" interpretation of beauty every. Single. Time. Thank you for sharing them!

  7. I think you are beautiful inside and out. Often I think we are too harsh on ourselves.

It's apparent your love for your flock and your joy radiates in your pictures. Thank you for sharing them with us.

  8. I agree with all the previous sentiments. It is so wonderful to see you happy with your gorgeous sheepies when, not too long ago, we weren't even sure you were going to be able to continue shepherding. God is good!

Congrats on your new camera, Nancy! The pics of you with sheep are great--Pam takes after her mom when it comes to photography!

We had a good weekend up north and did some "farming". I also shot my first turkey--a 20-pound Tom!!! Wish I had remembered my camera...maybe later my sister-in law will send one from her camera.

  12. I don't have a problem with being 56, but I sure don't look as cute in pics as I used to...........

So I understand your feeling about it, I think.

I think it is good for us to not reject our selves or our image, and I applaud you for not only having your daughter take these lovely pics, but for posting them.

As others have said, the love you feel for your woolies shines bright, making you beautiful as only a woman of a certain age, loving her place in the world, can be. It's a different beauty, not a lesser one, from that of your lovely daughters..............

  13. Thanks for sharing your pictures - you DO look good in Sheep. ;) Are all your lambs so friendly? Mine are curious, but they scatter before any loving occurs.
