Shetland sheep have changed my life and touched my heart. They have brought me joy, adventure and serenity. Follow along as I live each day influenced by memories of my mighty flock of mini sheep ~ aided and abetted by "Bellamica", the English Shepherd,"Sable", my livestock guardian dog and "Hero" the rescue dog that stole my heart! You'll also meet many of the homeless dogs that I rescue and rehome as part of Bluff Country Canine Rescue.

Now Try to Guess What I Did Today...
Don't feel too bad. The little shits were ALL back in with the ewes when I got home from work tonight! I don't even want to know...
I did the same thing - yesterday. 24 hours down. The first time, about 2 weeks ago, the lambs all made it back in with the ewes overnight. This time - there were 2 hard fences between them. Poor babies.... - Franna
I bet you were IRATE! I wouldnt blame you either; but it's awesome how you managed to catch everone in a pic with their mouths open, even DREAM, who couldnt possibly have been upset at the separation :) Good work mom!

ReplyDeleteOh dear. I'm sorry, but it's kind of funny. From way over here ;-).
ReplyDeleteYour girls have big mouths :-)
ReplyDeleteAh yes, very familiar site. We separated ours almost two weeks ago. The first two days (and nights) were awful. Good luck when you try again.
ReplyDeleteToo funny and so real!!!
ReplyDeleteI use the expression 'little shits', too :-) Funny post with all the photos of open-mouth sheep.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw all those open mouths, I knew it! Weaning time, lol!
