ReplyDeleteI remember getting scared once that something had eaten my three newly hatched chicks....they were just tucked away in Moms feathers. :) That is the greatest photo!

ReplyDeleteWe're so lucky to have enough moisture that the marsh grasses have grown to about 4' high. Our wild ducks have been able to raise families this year and not have them eaten by the coyotes as they were last year. It broke my heart to watch that happen. One pair had 9 ducklings make it so far.
Great pictures! I can't believe how close up and posed they look! Madonna looks so absolutely pleased with life.
