ReplyDeleteOur day here was the reverse. Dark rain clouds, and then bright sunshine later. Now I need to go and throw myself in the pool to cool off! Great pictures Nancy.

ReplyDeleteI love it when a storm is brewing but the sun is still shining; there's that inviting light and then a wonderfully sharp gust of wind, telling you you better enjoy yourself while you can; soon it will be time to snuggle up safely inside. Ahhhh, Sighhhhh
ReplyDeleteI don't know where our monsoons have gone...we'll cloud up, but the rains stay way east of us, leaving everything here thirsting for rain and respite from the intense sun. There's nothing ;like that refreshing smell after a rain. You can almost hear the earth sigh in relief.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Nancy. I used to love sitting on the back step of our quarters in Kansas - watching the thunderheads explode skyward before the storms.
