Before...


The weatherman promised sunshine and warm temperatures.
Perfect weather for finally shearing my Shetland sheep!


I do believe the girls will be quite happy to give up their lovely locks




Or what's left of them...

  4. Looking forward to seeing more of the shearing. That reminds me 0 - I must get my two fleeces washed. Any hints or tips would be appreciated?

  7. There wasn't any rain predicted but I was a little nervous when dark clouds started building up while we were waiting for the shearer to arrive. Fortunately, the rain passed us by and the sun came back out for a sunny (and hot!) shearing day.

    They're not fluffy ANY MORE, Katie! ;-)
