Shetland sheep have changed my life and touched my heart. They have brought me joy, adventure and serenity. Follow along as I live each day influenced by memories of my mighty flock of mini sheep ~ aided and abetted by "Bellamica", the English Shepherd,"Sable", my livestock guardian dog and "Hero" the rescue dog that stole my heart! You'll also meet many of the homeless dogs that I rescue and rehome as part of Bluff Country Canine Rescue.
I've got a sick ewe this morning......I've dosed her up, got a warm coat on her and gave her premo rations, now I'm crossing my fingers. Maybe I'll send her to you and you guys can comfort one another.
I hope you feel better soon! So sorry you are hurt too, hope your eye is feeling better as well. The last message I sent you via the yahoo list about my blog didn't pass the moderator...something about not pertaining to Shetlands enough? Oh well. I just wanted to say thanks, and if you could add my Shetland blog to your blog roll now that I have discontinued my farm blog, that would be great. Having one has been easier for me...it was time. BTW...I don't even want to tell you how long it has taken me to figure out the "bell" I keep hearing is from your blog! LOL
You need some fruit in that menu! I know lemon merengue pie is labor intensive, but try this... one can of condensed sweetened milk, 1/2 cup of lime juice, 3 egg whites. Whip it all up and bake it in a pie pan at 350 till it's reasonably set, top with some fat free cool whip, and kaboom, yummy key lime pie with lots of citrus vitamins! And much warmer than ice cream :)
Take Care My Dear. Stay warm. Eat lots of that soup. Pray for warmer weather. :O)
