Zest had a Single...

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Zest had a big, healthy ram lamb, early this morning. Everyone is doing great. I've got to get ready for work but will post more (and photos, of course!) tonight....

I can't get enough of the Mom/baby pictures! Makes my day and makes me want to get that spinner's flock someday very soon.

    Hi Nancy,

Glad to hear all went well with Zest and her ram lamb! Thanks for letting us know. It will be interesting to see if you get any triplets this year. I am wondering if sheep are like deer and have fewer multiple births if the winter is hard. Deer have this adaptive mechanism where they are actually able to reabsorb their fetuses in hard winters and under adverse conditions--makes some sense, but isn't that wierd?
